When I was growing up it wasn’t cool to be smart. As a young girl and into my early teens I hid my inner brilliance. I even played dumb and did it REALLY well! Over the years, and as I’ve developed into a much more mature version of my earlier self, I’ve learned that “SMART” is what you make it. My definition of smart has grown and changed throughout the years right along with me!

When I was pursuing my love of dance, that was “MY Smart”. When I graduated from college and started teaching that was “MY Smart”. Miss Science is “MY Smart” now. I AM a SMART GIRL and have been my entire life! And what I’ve realized is that whether someone is 1 or 101, a Smart Girl is inside her, too.
